In compliance with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (passed by Parliament and assented to by the President of India on 22 August 2025), Khelbro has ceased all operations and no longer offers any form of online money game, paid contest, real-money fantasy product, or any service that involves users paying money or stakes in expectation of monetary or other enrichment.

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits the offering, aiding, advertising, or facilitating of financial transactions for any online money game. The Act defines an online money game as any online game in which a user pays money or other stakes in expectation of monetary or other enrichment, irrespective of whether the game is based on skill, chance, or both.
ऑनलाइन गेमिंग प्रमोशन और विनियमन अधिनियम, 2025 किसी भी ऑनलाइन मनी गेम की पेशकश, सहायता, विज्ञापन, या वित्तीय लेनदेन की सुविधा प्रदान करने पर रोक लगाता है। अधिनियम ऑनलाइन मनी गेम को ऐसे किसी भी ऑनलाइन गेम के रूप में परिभाषित करता है जिसमें उपयोगकर्ता मौद्रिक या अन्य लाभ की अपेक्षा में पैसे या अन्य स्टेक्स का भुगतान करता है, चाहे खेल कौशल, संयोग, या दोनों पर आधारित हो।
Penalties for offering online money gaming services include imprisonment of up to three years, a fine of up to ₹1 crore, or both — with enhanced penalties of 3–5 years imprisonment and fines up to ₹2 crore for repeat offences.
ऑनलाइन मनी गेमिंग सेवाएं प्रदान करने पर तीन वर्ष तक का कारावास, ₹1 करोड़ तक का जुर्माना, या दोनों का दंड हो सकता है — बार-बार अपराध करने पर 3–5 वर्ष का कारावास और ₹2 करोड़ तक के बढ़े हुए दंड के साथ।

Any individual or entity using the Khelbro name, logo, marks, or any deceptively similar identity — whether to operate a gaming product, accept deposits, run contests, or impersonate Khelbro on any website, app, social media, or messaging platform — is doing so without permission and unlawfully, and will face civil and criminal action including, without limitation, action under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and all other applicable laws of India.
